Save the date—Saturday, May 14, 2022—for the annual CMC Trail Clearing Day. The White Mountain Trail Collective and US Forest Service put in a ton of work on Paugus last year. Now it's up to CMC members to clear the way as we have for more than 100 years! Meet at the Grove at Chocorua Lake at 9AM for tools and trail assignments. It’s supposed to be warm, so bring plenty of water to drink, and sun and bug protection as needed. If you would like to lead a crew and can help recruit a team of five to seven family members or friends to join you, or for any questions please email CMC President Ken Smith at chocoruamountainclub@gmail.com. Post-hike party will be held in the Grove at 5:30PM—BYO refreshments. Please return all CMC tools you borrowed. The party will include an annual meeting with reduced quick agenda of trail reports and treasurer's report (bugs permitting, if they are too bad we will reschedule the annual meeting).
